Two Valley road projects start today
MONTOURSVILLE — PennDOT says a pair of road projects start today on busy Valley roads–and there will be long delays. Route 15 north and south, between Shamokin Dam and the Snyder/Union County line, will see a major road work, lane restrictions and some expected delays. Work starts today and continues until the end of September.
In Union County, a railroad bridge replacement project will begin Wednesday–and White Deer Pike will be closed at the railroad overpass between Old Route 15 and the Nurse Helen Fairchild Bridge at Watsontown. A detour will use Old Route 15, and the Route 44 bridge. That project and the detour will wrap up by the end of August.
