Vacant barn destroyed by fire in Snyder County

MOUNT PLEASANT MILLS – A vacant barn was destroyed by fire early this morning in Perry Township, Snyder County. The fire started around 12:15 a.m. at a barn on Portzline Hill Road.

 

Volunteer firefighters from Mount Pleasant Mills, Middleburg, Port Trevorton, Selinsgrove and Richfield were on the scene until about 2:30 this morning. A fire marshal will try to determine what started that fire in the vacant barn. No injuries were reported. (Ali Stevens)
