Video Here: Serving people “well” at Christ Wesleyan Church

MILTON – With a congregation of 1,500 people and growing, those at Christ Wesleyan Church in Milton thought an expansion was needed.  So, as Lead Pastor Arlie Davis explains, they went big.  “We really feel like if you are going to offer something to God, you need to offer your very best.  We wanted to make sure we didn’t do something careless or sloppy and that we did something of excellence that will bring honor to God.”

The Well consists of a coffee shop, a fitness center and a Christian bookstore.  Jed Epler, Business and Recreation Director, says the urban yet laid back design of the coffee shop is welcoming to all.  “We have over 100 seats in the coffee shop and we just want people to come and relax, meet a friend, use your computer.  Just relax and feel at peace.”

The $4 million project also including the expansion and face lift of spaces for youth and young adults says KidzWay Director Christy Crocker.  “Right now we are working on our children’s area where they can learn and have fun.  In addition we are working on our security procedures where parents can be at ease as they worship.”

While these areas are already open to the congregation and the public, they will be holding a grand opening weekend January 18-20, with musical entertainment, games, events for children, movies, giveaways and more.  Check out a video tour through the new facilities and a complete schedule of grand opening events January 18-20.
