Woman busted for meth lab
DANVILLE — Another Montour County person was charged with a meth lab Tuesday. According to The Daily Item, 48-year-old Allison Swisher of Mexico Road was arraigned on charges that she was running a lab in her home.
Swisher has been locked up on a quarter million dollars bail following her arrest. Police say she was caught yesterday operating a four pot operation in her home. She was already set to face sentencing today for a former offense of driving under the influence of meth.
Swisher was raided by crews from the Northumberland Montour Drug Task Force and troopers from the clandestine lab unit. This is the second meth lab discovered in Montour County this year. The first one was in Danville. (Codi Jade)
