MIFFLINBURG – A Mifflinburg woman is facing charges after police say she stole money from an elderly client for whom she was providing home care.  Mifflinburg Police say 19-year-old Alyssa Kahle was arrested January 14 for making unauthorized withdrawals from the checking account of an 87-year-old Mifflinburg resident.

Kahle is accused of taking $2,300 in cash from the woman’s checking account without permission.  She has a preliminary hearing set for February 12 on charges of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and access device fraud.  (Ali Stevens)
