Sunbury man known as “Ghost” will go to trial

SUNBURY – A Sunbury man charged with aggravated assault and illegal possession of a weapon will face a trial.  20-year-old Luis Alamo, also known as “Ghost”, had charges against him bound to court by District Judge Ben Apfelbaum.   Sunbury police said Alamo pointed a BB gun at a man on a bicycle and chased him down Second Street.  The gun appeared to be a Baretta, but it turned out to be a pellet gun. The victim called 911 and Alamo escaped before police arrived.  Police released pictures of the suspect and he turned himself in.  Alamo remains behind bars at the Snyder County Prison.  (Ali Stevens) Follow
