SUNBURY – A Sunbury man charged with stabbing a man in the city in July will face a trial in Northumberland County. 23-year-old Joseph Rice entered a plea of not guilty during a preliminary hearing before District Judge Ben Apfelbaum in Sunbury on Thursday. He faces four felony counts, including aggravated assault. All charges against Rice were sent to court. Police say Rice stabbed Darryl Troup after storming into a home on July 7th. Troup was treated at Sunbury Community Hospital for stab wounds to his knees. (Ali Stevens) Follow
