One preliminary hearing delayed in Middleburg murder
MIDDLEBURG – The preliminary hearing for the Sunbury man accused of stabbing his grandmother to death and injuring his grandfather has been delayed. Snyder County District Attorney Michael Piecuch says the hearing for Joshua Snook has been continued and no date has been set.
Snook is charged with stabbing his grandmother 71-year-old Bonnie Snook at her home February 17. She died at the scene. He also stabbed his grandfather Dale Snook, who was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. He has since been treated and released. Joshua Snook is in jail and has not been granted bail.
His wife, Jennifer Snook, is also facing homicide charges in the incident for driving Joshua to his grandparents’ home the night of the murder. Jennifer Snook’s preliminary hearing is still scheduled for this afternoon in Middleburg. (Sara Bartlett)
