PointTownship police hire Tim Fink

NORTHUMBERLAND — In a quick, unanimous show of hands, the Point Township supervisors last night hired a new police patrolman–he is Northumberland police chief Tim Fink. The PointTownship police chief Josh VanKirk tells WKOK.com, that Fink is eminently qualified, is a sound, experienced and well-trained officer. He is also a firearm’s instructor for police.

Fink will begin his duties in about three weeks. He has been the police chief in Northumberland since 2004.Point police have had a vacancy since the dismissal of Patrolman Wade Lytle last November–he was let go after he became romantically involved with the victim in a rape case.
